It's ALL DONE! WHEEE!!
I finished one essay early and turned it in on Thursday, then turned the second Irish lit essay in on Friday. First one was really good, second one was crap. But it's done. Over the weekend I buffed and polished my poetry essay and turned it in on Monday. I was quite pleased with that one actually.
Today I had my Metaphysics exam. There were two essays, one hour each. I wrote about criterion of identity for the first essay, which I was well-prepared for, but the second essay kicked me in the gut. I generally knew what I was writing about, but due to a complete brain freeze I had to swap subjects completely... and didn't end up writing about the second one I had prepared for. Ended up writing about criterion of identity for events instead of the Identity of Indiscernables. :/
I don't feel enthusiastic about the second essay at all, but hopefully my score on the first one will make up for it. At least it's all over now.
Today I got a disheartening, cruelly ironic e-mail. It was from Creasman, about the
Appalachian Literature online course I'm taking over the summer. It's ironic he sent it to me today, because today marks my freedom from all Queen's work, and it just happens to be the day I get a reminder that my summer class starts in less than a week. What a buzzkill.
Only a couple weeks left now. I hope to go on a few trips with some friends, namely down south to Cork and Blarney Castle. Adam and Linda said they got extremely cheap flights by spending a day in the air, so hopefully the trip would be doable as a two-day weekend jaunt. We'll see how that goes.
