On the eve before the big day, it seems I keep forgetting what is just around the corner. Jessica's brief presence was the only thing out of the ordinary. (She and Justin came into town for a wedding over the weekend.) In the morning I had some Raisin Bran, headed out to the Humane Society for a little while, had a mediocre lunch of leftovers, and spent the rest of the day relaxing at home. I found a nifty site that lets you make customized badges and emblems, with your own text, font, colors, etc. Bill spent some time playing an amusing Flash game called Now Boarding, which was fun until too many of his passengers got upset and decided to mutiny. Soon after, Dad helped me check in with Continental. Heh heh.
Mom cooked a delightful roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, honey-glazed carrots, applesauce (made with fruit from my Grandma's trees in Maryland), and Grand's crescent rolls--possibly my favorite meal she makes. We watched a little figure skating, I gathered some important documents, and now I'm heading to bed.
Sooo...
Here's a quick update on the travel info:

Dad's business partner and friend, Ian Sneddon, has agreed to pick me up at Belfast International Airport. I will be staying with him and his family for a day or so until I can move in to my dorm room at Mount Charles. Upon arrival, I will try to meet with the housing people so I can move in a day early, which would defuse a conflict with Ian's plans on the official move-in day.
Other than that, there is nothing major to report. Really looking forward to a new chapter in my life and the chance to explore!
