Safe Arrival in Belfast

Just a quick note before I collapse on Ian's couch--the flights went well, I made it into Ireland without difficulty, with ALL of my luggage, and I'm already enjoying the lush green countryside here in Hillsborough. The air is so moist it literally smells green; it's a very healthy scent which is caressing my dry nasal passages. Thanks so much, Ian, for picking me up at the airport, and thanks Andrew for going out to grab some milk.

Will update this post later with more details. Belly is full of cereal, coffee, and croissants with jam. Only got an hour or so of sleep on the redeye. Going to sleep now... zZzZZzzzzz...

  1. So the land smells green, eh? The first thing I noticed when I went to Poland was how the toilets were seperated from the rest of the bathroom. I thought I would open the men's room door and see everything, but no. There were only sinks with another door on the other side of the room. I then opened this door to find a narrow hallway with another door at the other end. I was like "What the...is this some Alice In Wonderland style stuff going on?"

Anyways, glad to hear it went okay. Hope the rest of your sledding goes well. I'd say a certain phrase again, but, well, we already pointed out how redundant it was....(if you dont get it, I will hit you...with my ring hand.)
